Interning with Eden provides hands-on experience and a behind-the-scenes look at nonprofit/social enterprise work. Internships are intensive, rewarding, and crucial to Eden’s work. A minimum 3-month commitment is required for general internships, with 6 months preferred. Eden will provide a small stipend for interns. Eden accepts applications throughout the year. Opportunities are available in both US and Asian offices, depending on current needs.
Eden is always looking for full or part time volunteers who are interested in using their industry knowledge to fight against injustice. A minimum one year commitment is required for the positions listed below.
Web and Layout Designer - Proficient in photo editing, and layout. Including InDesign, Adobe Illustrator. Familiar with Shopify is an advantage.
International Advocate Manager - The Eden Advocates Manager aims to manage the Eden Advocates community and to promote Eden Ministry in their community.
Executive Assistant to the Founder - Unparalleled first-hand experience learning non-profit structure, grant-writing, donor-relations, and project expansion. Applicant should be an organized and responsible self-starter.
Public Relations and Volunteer Development- Coordinate and build Eden’s relations with local volunteers and donors. Organize and manage events and jewelry sales.
Social Media and Communications - Responsible for gathering site updates, stories and pictures from all Eden program sites and keeping the entire team unified and informed. Also help advocate against human trafficking through Eden’s social media and newsletters. Applicant should have a degree in marketing, communications or design.
Nursing or Social Work - Work directly with women rescued from human trafficking, raising awareness for STD’s and HIV/AIDS, and assisting them with their case-work or medical needs. Applicant should have a degree in social work or nursing.
Curriculum Development and Teaching - First-hand experience in our restoration program teaching vocational skills including English, computer, barista, art and dance. Teachers are also needed for our Community Centers to work with children living in the red light districts and in our trafficking prevention programs for at-risk children and youth in rural areas. Applicant should have a degree and vocational training in their area of interest.
Marketing and Sales - coordinate and grow Eden’s marketing and sales both locally and internationally. Source and develop new customers and marketing channels. Applicant should have a degree in marketing.
